This locally produced schooling aid is made of leather and nylon rope. It is most popularly used for lungeing but can be used under saddle. It is designed to make the horse work through his back by applying poll pressure combined with contact through the bit. The horse is encouraged to lower his head into a very low head carriage thus building muscle throughout his 'top line'. It is often used when rehabilitating horses with back injuries.
