This patented ventilation system sucks in air directly through scale-shaped flaps along the Titium's headband (Titium is an aluminium and titanium alloy). This air is then channelled into the hollows of the shell before being expelled through the two vents located to the rear of the helmet. This ventilation principle (as tested in a wind tunnel) provides truly improved comfort to the rider, eliminating the unpleasant effects of scalp sweating and overheating.
