HOLLOW MOUTH FULMER

This stainless steel snaffle has long, blunt ended cheeks which protrude from the mouthpiece itself, loose rings and a thick hollow mouthpiece. The loose rings soften the action of this bit, as well as the thickness and lightness of the mouthpiece. An ideal bit for youngsters as it offers more lateral control due to the long cheeks. This bit is correctly used with fulmer keepers, which are attached to the bridle cheekpieces. The keepers prevent the mouthpiece being turned over in the horse's mouth whilst in work.
