Nathe bits are made of a strong, yet flexible, plastic type material. Inside the nathe is a strong metal cable, which ensures that the bit cannot break. These bits are hypoallergenic and are proven to be both tongue and mouth friendly. Soft and strong all in one, these bits are suitable for both youngsters and the more experienced horse. The nathe Portuguese gag provides a bit more control than a regular snaffle. The slight lever action helps to create poll flexion. A nylon curb strap can be added for more strength. Available in 4.5", 5" and 5.5".
