This pollguard is of the hood design and covers the horses entire poll as well as the front of the face and temple area. It is made of neoprene and has a thick, high density foam panel which sits between the horse's ears and down his face. This ensures extra protection should the horse hit his head. It attaches to the noseband of the halter and has a sleeve through which the halter pollpiece is threaded.
